Jinlong wants to break a finger each, from Dagong and Dali. They are petrified. With Jizhou’s help, however, they manage to escape. Jizhou advises them to steer clear of wrongdoing, which would ultimately lead to punishment. Dagong and Dali disagree; they argue that they need to be cunning to survive. Shunfeng demands to know why Shunshui has kicked A-liang and Zhigao out of the new Yeo Yeo Huat business. Meizhen tries to appease Shunshui by saying Shunfeng actually supports his decision. Meizhen explains to Shunfeng that it would not benefit him to quarrel with Shunshui, as he is only an adopted son.
