Mei Zhen resolves a huge quarrel between Da Ming and Shun Shui, much to the delight of Shun Feng. Mei Zhen is harassed by a man named Evan who was responsible for the egg throwing incident during her wedding. She is thoroughly affected but is afraid to let Shun Feng know.
