Daming stops Jinlong from beating Tiancheng up. He and Meimei are surprised to learn Jinlong had begun his search for them because of a dream. Jinlong shares that 30 years ago, he and Daming had brotherhood ties. But Daming only remembers Jinlong being a bully. Revealing that Jiejie and Meimei had looked after Manman when she was young, Jinlong urges her to acknowledge them as her godmothers and Daming as her godfather. Shunfeng and Meizhen are in the midst of decorating their new house. Her requests are simple. Shunfeng suggests treating her friends to a meal but she declines, saying their wedding is a personal affair. Everyone is overjoyed when Jinzhi suddenly shows up. Zhihao hires a bodyguard, Deng Bo, to protect her.
