He obliges but is not convinced. Lantian investigates the WeChat sex scams and money laundering cases. A model, Fiona, is found to be connected to the cases. However, she has no knowledge that her photos were used for the scams. At the art school, Hongxi is shunned by her classmates after they learn her father is a murder convict. Xuewei is giving a lecture at the art school. He finds the downcast Hongxi and gives her a postcard with words of encouragement. Hongxi visits Zhongzheng in prison and shows him the postcard. He is shocked Xuewei is targetting Hongxi.
