Guixiang flies into a rage when he sees Xuanmei flirting and drinking with a regular customer. Recognising her is Guixiang’s girlfriend, Dexun is outraged as well. Acting on his own, Chen Yu uncovers an important lead. Zhijie reprimands him for not following instructions and orders him off the case. She brings Dexun back to the station to work in his place. On Xuanmei’s way home after work, someone tightens a rope around her neck.
