After listening to Walter, Mei Yu ponders about how to help Mei Mei. She persuades a music restaurant’s boss to let Mei Mei sing. Mei Mei is hesitant because of Li Li. Li Li objects as she hopes Mei Mei lead an ordinary life. Wei Xiong manages to convince Li Li to allow Mei Mei to sing at the restaurant, saying that Mei Mei has freedom and power to pursue her own dreams.
