Jiaming joins M & E and requests Meiqi to take on a case of a hit-and-run accident by rich man's son, Jiang Junwei. Meiqi is unwilling at first but accepts the case reluctantly because of Jiaming. Meiqi presents an evidence which is to the disadvantage of the deceased's family. This got the deceased's sister, Xiaoling to realise that she indirectly caused the death of her brother.
