Ah Zhen discovers the severity of Xin Yu's illness but Xiaohu sees it as an act from Xin Yu to gain attention and sympathy. Xiang Rong brings Xin Yu to a psychiatrist but Xin Yu runs away angrily. Xin Yu blames Xiang Rong for separating her family and started crying. She begs Xiang Rong to break up with Xiaohu. Xiang Rong agrees helplessly.
