Lan Xiang visits out of the blue and asks for Mei Mei. Lan Xiang gifts Mei Mei a bottle of essential oil in hopes that Mei Mei will treat her as a friend. Da Ming feels relieved after knowing that Lan Xiang is here to express goodwill but still feels uneasy.
