Even under torture, Tianxiong refuses to divulge any information about Yongcheng or the evidence. He manages to flee after tricking A-wei’s lackeys. However, he faints in exhaustion and has to be rescued by a passer-by. Jiaxuan receives a video showing Haohao being held hostage. A-wei demands Yongcheng bring the evidence in exchange for Haohao’s life. Yongcheng tells him the evidence is with Tianxiong. Guodong is incensed about Yongcheng’s dealings with the triad, and blames him for implicating Haohao. Guangrong and Xiaoming rush to the hospital after receiving news that Tianxiong has been admitted. He has yet to regain consciousness. Jiaxuan tells Guangrong and Xiaoming that Haohao and Kaixin have been kidnapped. They can’t believe Tianxiong is working for Lei Zheng. Tianxiong wakes up.
