Chen Feng and Wu Xiaoqiao are neighbours who have known each other for many years. They both work at a hamper factory. However, they each bear a grudge against the other and are always at odds. On this day, Xiaoqiao brings up the issue of work efficiency. Chen Feng defends her workers, claiming Xiaoqiao is overly harsh. Xiaoqiao goads her into a competition on hamper-packing. Based on the results, she then institutes a rule that all workers are to finish packing every hamper within 10 minutes. Liang Wenjie is dyslexic but isn’t aware of it. She collects a birthday cake from the bakery and doesn’t realise the message on the cake is incorrect. Li Ziyang loves to read and is very knowledgeable. He is amused when he happens to read the birthday message on Wenjie’s cake. He accidentally drops the cake when he offers to carry it for her. Chen Feng receives an urgent call from Wenjie. When everyone arrives at the location she mentions, they see a strange man hugging a tree, refusing to let go.
