Xiao Qiao, Zi Yang and Wen Jie realise that the thefts are related to Zhong Xing. All three arrive at Zhong Xing's house simultaneously, and find out that he has a mentally-disabled son, Wei Xiong. Wen Jie sees Wei Xiong trying to take some porridge from a piping hot pot, and tries to stop him. She gets scalded instead. Seeing how Wen Jie did not bear grudges against him and even saved Wei Xiong, Zhong Xing feels ashamed and finally admits that he is the thief.
