Xiao Qiao confesses to Zheng Ye but gets rejected. He states that they will always be best friends. Xiao Qiao is heartbroken and embarrassed to face Zheng Ye. She had wanted to quit but dismisses the idea eventually. Thinking that Xiao Qiao is leaving, Chen Feng holds a farewell party to send her off and even gets Zheng Ye to give a speech. Xiao Qiao misunderstands it as Zheng Ye is firing her and is upset.
