Ruoyun is injured, and Xu Tao takes her to the doctor. She has trouble walking because of a sprained ankle, and he helps collect her medicine. When Xu Tao’s phone rings, Ruoyun picks up the call. It is Shuqi, who is taken aback that a woman is answering his phone. Later, when she probes, Xu Tao brushes the incident off. Shuqi finds a bracelet in Xu Tao's bag and is convinced he is seeing another woman. He attempts to clarify, but she doesn't believe him. Xiaoqiao finds out from a distraught Shuqi that Xu Tao has betrayed her. Xiaoqiao interrogates him, and he details the encounter with Ruoyun. Shuqi reconciles with him. Late at night, Shuqi hears someone weeping. She is shocked to see Ruoyun climbing onto the kitchen window ledge and looking as if she is preparing to jump.
