While on her medical appointment, Xiu Xiu happens to find out about Hai Ning's deteriorating health and her frequent visits to the washroom. As Xiu Xiu brings the matter up to Jin Shu, he suspects that something may be off about Hai Ning and decides to visit her mother at her home. Jin Shu and Hai Ning's mother carefully investigate the situation, and find clues that confirm Hai Ning's eating disorder. Jin Shu interrogates Hai Ning on the issue, but she refuses to face her problem.
