Youle watches Tianxiang folding paper aeroplanes and learns he aspires to be a pilot but has last stage brain cancer. Meigui and Jianhua bring food for Tianxiang. His treatment leaves him with no appetite, but he lies to his parents that the food tastes good. He wants to stop treatment, so as not to be a burden to them. Youle wants to give Jiazi a treat, but the latter refuses to let her pay. She recognises Longhua as the guy who had stolen her bicycle. Longhua explains that he took the bicycle for his retarded neighbour, Lingling. Longhua chases away a middle-aged man for trying to get close to Lingling.
