Xinni refuses to give up on Yaozong, even though his heart has stopped. She administers emergency treatment and manages to resuscitate him. Jiaren and Longhua start their internship at the hospital. An Indian nurse goes to Jiaren’s rescue when he cannot understand dialect. Jiazi hears Xinni defending Yaozong when tongues wag on why he was stabbed. Yaozong is happy Xinni has been keeping him company. Liya refuses to speak up for Yaozong, as she wants to defend her husband. Jiazi assumes Youle has been avoiding him because he refused her the loan for Yongming. Youle decides to be a tutor as well, to earn money for her brother. At an interview, she meets Xiwen.
