Liwei is astonished when he is pushed into the pool. He suddenly remembers Ruiming saying he can’t swim, so he pretends to struggle in the waters. Siting saves him and leaves without a word. Zijian shows Liwei some family photos; most of them were taken without Ruiming. Liwei realises why Ruiming’s relationship with his family was bitter. Ruiming and Ruijie’s father, Li Jianting, a dementia patient, is in a nursing home. Jianting is happy to see Liwei, but can’t recognise Ruijie.
