Wenjie is taken away by the police under suspicion of harming Ruoyun. Ziyang finds it strange that Wenjie refuses to tell the truth. Ziyang tells Yalong to get a checkup as it is impossible to fully recover from Asperger’s Syndrome. The latter complains that Shuqi has been neglecting him. He suspects she is thinking of patching up with Xu Tao. Yalong harps on the matter and develops a headache. Jesse shows him concern. He flirts with her and asks her out to the movies. Xu Tao notices that Yalong is great chums with Jesse and tells Shuqi. Shocked Xu Tao is not back in Shanghai, she urges him to return home. He confesses that he is staying to keep an eye on Yalong. Yalong is upset when he finds out about Xu Tao’s visit. He lies that he had met Jesse by coincidence. He claims he is afraid to lose Shuqi, and she forgives him yet again. Chen Feng finds out the truth about Jueming and is incensed. She and Yalong chase him out of the house.
