Youle completes her course and starts her internship at Ai De Hospital. While in the lift, Jiazi recognises her but she has no impression of him at all. Youle and Jiazi comb the wards for the missing Mr Han. When he is found, he relates how he ruined his family by having an affair. Youle asks about Ruojun and relates how Ruojun had saved her years ago. She finally remembers getting a lift from Jiazi after the party. Yaozong and Xinni get into another tiff over sharing a taxi. He visits his girlfriend, Yuanyuan, at the polytechnic and finds out she and Xinni are friends. Xinni tells Yuanyuan that Yaozong is professional at work, but is so miserly that she cannot tolerate him. Jiazi tries in vain to contact Mr Han’s family.
